The Virtual Schneider Project is great, & often forgotten about, as is the The Ford Tri-Motor Project.
SOH has the best library for us FS9'ers!!! :jump:

And it will never reappear in Flightsim.com, even if the site might once be back. The author of Freeware Scenery could never adapted all the entries
to Flightsim.com specifications at the last relounge of thr site. It is always nice to modify websites and supposedly improve them. But who has to shoulder the effort of making those necessary changes?

Its one take-off pre-mature, but I'm feeling lucky today. :wiggle:
Its actually going to a 2 hour patrol flown at night (weather permitting), so the screen shot would stink.

One thousand logged flight hours between FS2002 and FS2004. :D
Even Gonky showed up to sit in the cockpit (look carefully at the pilot's face).

I think I roughly split half the hours between the Alphasim B-52 (Guam and Fairchild AFB) and the Aerialfoundry Hornet.
Of course, logged time doesn't hold a candle to all the time I've spent wrenching on the sim. :ROFLMAO:

Lake Garda is magnificent. It's one of my favorite vacation spots. I was there last May precisely in Desenzano with a view of the lake. You make me nostalgic ;-)

A busy couple of days, still touring Greece and finding very nice forgotten freeware.
Here in Northern Greece, not too far from the Albanian border is Ioannina airport (LGIO) with it’s 7800’ runway and a VOR aided approach:

I was net scraping for any Greek sceneries I had missed and came upon the GAP 2014 version of Thessaloniki. I had the 2004 version, so installed the 2014 version complete with VFR and photoreal scenery, it must be a contender for best freeware! A few pics below taken from the Cessna 182 Turbo of the Olympic Flying Club:

I was about to return to my Greek airport hopping when Wolfbee brought news of the restoration of the famous Desenzano hangers on lake Garda in Italy. This was the site for record braking speed attempts by the famous Macchi Castoldi M.C. 72. We just had to visit, with other aviation enthusiasts we took off from Venice’s old San Nicolo airport (LIPV) with it’s 3400' grass runway:

Lucb had already visited and of course we where all upstaged by Airbasil who arrived in his ridiculously expensive classic Riva motorboat from the sixties.
