SOH ADMINISTRATIONit indeed needs an updated Flight Deck…That last one is even more wacky looking when you see it in the flesh; it's been re registered to USA now;
its a nice 3d model but CRJ flight deck is nothing like a Global ( I get up close and personal with Global's in my day job)

That is the problem, knowing how different they are & which packs could be consolidated. I keep trying to rationalise the models, I tend to give up when my head starts hurting.Kirk Olsson made many different models of his F-16 and I have several different model installed. But none of the is called "sim=Viper1" in the aircraft configuration file. The model which comes close is the USViper model, however this is called "sim=VIPER" and all models version for this are "slightly" different as well.
Thanks in advance,
Huub

Love the DH Biplanes.. I got lucky enough to sit in the real ZK-AEK in Wanaka NZ in the mid 90's not long after she was restored.Some people want biplanes ;-)

Uncle Bob, that looks mighty useful. What adjustments, if any can be made, are needed for the CFT/late block models?

I've read elsewhere that it was designed to use sliding doors:Speaking of, how was this thing supposed to drop anything at 70,000 feet and at Mach 3? Imagine cruising along in an SR-71 and opening two barn doors..![]()
One of the best looking aircraft, the next is the Tupolev Tu-160 'White Swan'--- Both simply gorgeous aircraft!!Meanwhile, now that my virtual deployment with VFA-146 is over I need something new to dive into as a long-term project.
I flew the B-52 into a rut and I'm backing away from the Hornet to avoid doing the same.
How about something a little more radical?

This would be a "What If?" project using the Alphasim/Virtavia XB-70 but what if SAC and the Congress bought the B-70 as a strategic bomber?
Where would they be based? Look carefully at the bomb wing insignia. One of my "that's possible" bases is Fairchild AFB, long and wide runway plus a good geographic location, so I added a 92nd BW shield. Some other candidates would be Grissom AFB after they turned in their B-58s. Curtis LeMay really couldn't stand the Hustler. Even with refueling it still had short legs. The only other base I could see would be Dyess AFB or Carswell AFB (to keep LBJ happy). I considered Loring AFB but Loring was losing its sparkle by the early 1970's
The next question would be how the B-70 holds up to air refueling? Flogging this thing around at 28,000 feet and 275 KTS is not for the feint-of-heart. Speaking of, how was this thing supposed to drop anything at 70,000 feet and at Mach 3? Imagine cruising along in an SR-71 and opening two barn doors..![]()
If I did it right, it'll be in the Resources in a few time.I'm trying to find the ZK-AEK repaint by Peter Watkins for the De Havilland DH.83 Fox Moth by David Molyneaux.
I've searched the Resources here, but couldn't find it.
Any help gratefully accepted, Thanks.
