Nice! Is this the former payware MilViz T-38A, now freeware at Blackburn Simulations here? It says P3D V4 V5... Does the installer have also an FSX option?

Special Server Maintenance
Just when you think you have everything running some what better...
You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.
- November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
- November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
- November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
- November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.
If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.
To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

According to the user manual (found here: https://milviz.com/Online_products/Manuals/T-38A_User_Guide_P3Dv4.pdf) the free one is for P3D v4+ only.
I tried previously, i believe the plane loads in, but the cockpit and exterior model is invisible, doesnt load in. You can try the steps of converting it to fsx by using something like model converter x. But thats above my skill level.
FSXA - Converting from P3D V4.5 to FSX; Materials Workflow
Hey all, I have successfully converted my model from P3D 4.5 to FSX, but the materials didnt do to well on the switch over. Some are not showing up, some appear to be missing bump maps, etc. What is the usual work flow when doing this? Do you go back in with MCX and check things in the model...

It can be found on the internet, but... proceed at your own risk. It has one of the best flight models of any pay-ware that exists.

Freshened up the paint on an old favorite this morning and snapped a quick pic after I got out of Boeing Field (without ATC permission of course)
Still have a some stuff to do to it as it's a new install and some of my old tricks for it have yet to be added to it. But the painting part is done. Going to have to find a new hideout field for Merc Air HQ. Preferably an ex military airbase somewhere with no prying eyes. Apparently the old one south of London was torn down for non=payment of rent. The surrounding area had gotten too populated anyway.

Aircraft: MilViz/Blackburn Simulations North American F-100D; Scenery: Drzewiecki Bornholm Island, FSDG Oresund Bridge (all of these now free).
Had to fix the stars! Unfortunately the texture is loading in as black. I saved over the .dds like I normally do for the T38 I posted in this thread. But apparently there is something different about the Aerosoft liveries that I am not compiling correctly? I did see "sepcular.dds" files that goes with each texture. Not sure if any of the painters around here had this issue? She is going to look fantastic, just need help

The Skyunlimited Horton Ho229! As there was a question in the FS9 forum about this model I looked at the installer. And much to my surprise I noticed could install the FS9 version, which I had installed already for a long time. And to my surprise there was also a native FSX version.
So I had this model for years already, but never realised it was hidden in a long forgotten installer.....

Thank you Huub for your efforts posting interesting and historic things! Too bad this FSX forum seems to be forgotten as well...
