Gentlemen, please - could we agree on this?

So long as I don't get a call from somewhere out west asking me if I can throw bail for ya', I don't have a problem with it. (I'd come and bail you out anyway...you're far too old to be rubbin' elbows with the miscreant element inside....lol). I just happened to notice one of the more reputable sites was hesitant to host certain 1946 modifications, and from what I could tell, it seemed like they were worried about some form of.....oh, shall we say...."infringement".....for lack of a better term of course.

Seems harmless enough to me if nobody's making a profit from it, but you can bet your buttocks that Oleg, 1c and company are keepin' a close eye on it to see that nobody does. Kind of a grey area in the legal sense I s'pose, but I ain't worried about it if you're not.

That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it.......

This all sounds like slightly childish cloak and dagger stuff to me!...

The OFF team have pretty well eaten into everything that was CFS3...and I don't see M$ kicking off about it!

Oleg seems to have been elevated to a god like status, for what is essentially...a rather boring, and flacid sim (imho)

If someone has managed to crack the code, and make some decent scenery...bloody good luck to them!..Oleg never managed to make decent scenery for it!

As for the argument that mods destroy the online game?..poppycock!...Boredom and a newer game, destroys the online game!

The link uses RB3d and EAW as examples of modded games that were destroyed by mods!...So, these selfish individuals are so analy retentive, that rather than see a game improved hugely for the benefit of everyone...they would rather keep these games all to themselves, un-modded?....PAH!

No wonder IL2 and it's Ubi-users have such a bad name in the world of simming!!
