GMax Academy FS9 Mirage 2000 "All Versions" Available

Ok does anybody speak french by chance and is a member of Gmax Acadamy by chance? Been waiting the past two days to DL the mirages and still the active link to DL is inactive or no button to push for dl.
 
I am fully bilingual ( French and English ) and I reside in France two months per year. ( Thanks to my two step sisters ).

I check 3 different French FS Forums almost on a daily basis

GMax Academy Team are actually updating some sections of their website and for that reason they have temporarly de-cativated all their downloads options.

Impossible to know if this will take long or not.
The only thing we can do is to be patient.

Thank You. One of these days im going to have take a few french courses at the local collage. Would be great to add the language my Spanish Cuban dialect and broken Russian. Hopefully when I go way north to Yellowknife, my new Winter home they have somewhere i can learn French.
 
Mirage 2000 D is ready for download!!!! yes thats the first after days of waiting

The 2000 D download button is there but when used, my PC told me Internet Explorer can not download "dnwgmax.php" because it can not write the file on the memory disk !!!!

Do you have the same problem ? Are you using Internet Explorer ?
Will it work with FireFox ?

Just to be sure, I just download a Mig-21F13 repaint from FlightSim.Com files ......... without any problems !!!!

FYI this download works perfectly well for me with Firefox.

Very well done model and detail. Runs excellent in Fs9 and ran near perfect in FSX after taking out the military rmi gauge. Perfect. Now both my sims are happy and fsx has a tiddy over till the native mirage arrives on scene Viva la france Gmax:medals:.
 
Still not working for me with "Explorer".
Thanks for the info "Gribouil" !

I download it on the "FireFox" equipped LapTop of my son ( Alex )
transfered the .exe file to my Gaming DeskTop using an Usb Key
and installed it on FS9.

Superb 2000 "Diesel".

Wooooops !!!!

I have a problem with the GMaxAc Mirage 2000D
As said before this delta jewel is superb but ...... here is my
problem in 3 steps.

1.
After a Mirage 2000D flight I end it using my "escape" key
and clicking the "End Of Flight" box :

The result ?
My FS9 is shutting off itself in its entirety !!!!

2.
Just to be sure I reboot my PC and retry a Mirage 2000D
Flight and retrying the normal "End Of Flight" process :
The result ?
Same problem.
For me, normally ending a flight with the 2000D equals
exiting FS9 !!!!

3.
To be sure I try a flight with my Canadair Tutor CT-114
and normally ending the flight.
The result ?
No problems at all !!! My FS9 is Ok !!!

I know GMaxAc people are reading this forum. Help needed !

A mate of mine discovered that the CTD problem of the GA Mirages is due to the names of certain files mentionned in the aircraft.cfg file are too long.

Change the file/folder names to something not longer than 8 characters and you should be good to go. I did this and now I can enjoy the Mirage series and end a flight at will with no CTD from FS9!

BTW, this is in NO WAY intended as criticism on Gmax Academy, but rather on the blockheads over at Mickeysoft/M$/Moneyslut.

The external models of this series are just brilliant. The only gripe I find with them is the lack of a vc.

Its fascinating ! we learn something new about FS9/FSX almost
on a daily basis !

Here are the modificatyions I have made on each and everyone of the
143 x sub-chapters of the "cfg" file :

a.
ui_manufacturer line :
I change "Dassault Aviation" by "Mirage 2000D"
( a personnal editing choice )

b.
ui_type line :
I delete "Mirage 2000D E.C." just to keep the squadron
number and designation and the airframe number.
( example : 1/3 "Navarre" No.646 )

c.
description line :
I delete the entire very long text just to keep "Mirage 2000 D".

Now everything works perfectly and this Mirage is simply S-U-P-E-R-B !!!

One can download the panels, but not the planes!
 
The dev team is working on a vc model but we'll have to wait a bit longer for it as it won't be part of the next release.
 
I managed to get them all (except the -9) when they were first launched.
You'll not be disappointed when they're finally all released.

You're all wellcome guys! Sorry for the belated response, I started working on a new job this week, and that comes first!

Nice to know that there's a VC version on the way!
 
I have news from "Rooster" the project magager of this GMaxAc
Mirage 2000 Family project.

The entire team is on vacation, many of them outside France.

One of the developper ask for a "time out" before making back the downloads available, some corrections being needed before it.

All Mirage 2000 versions will be back for downloads sometime
in September.

Well till then i guess i have to wait and keep on tweaking and pimping up the pay ware version of Abacus.....

Here a few examples:

The 1st four are the original version...the last of some tweaking an pimpin'....making gauges..as well as a special HUD

I hope you enjoy them

Still a lot to do though...especially for the 3d pit......to be continued!!
