Maybe it's just me but this comes across as being a little fishy. Again maybe it's just me getting grumpy in my old age.

I dunnoh about "fishy"... but you have every right to your frustration, as I am frustrated as well. If you can browse the site with IE, you should be able to download from the site with IE too.... JMFO:kilroy:

Hopefully the GMax Academy folks will set up and allow for users of IE to download their excellent Mirage 2000 series.

Maybe these aircraft will make their way into the public domain where normal people can enjoy them...
I hope something like that doesn't happen until gmax academy decides to do that themselves. They are still working on them and regulating distribution from their own website is the best way for them to control that the changes are in place before they are released. For someone to go half cocked and upload these rather large files elsewhere would be a real disservice to everyone. JHMO.

I like to abide by the rules...
But if in so doing I am unable to get to the offering under discussion, I am virtually being asked to go somewhere else.
It really is just Gallic perverseness to make it impossible to download with IE, and impossible to get to the downloads with Chrome, despite it being offered as an alternative.
In fact, will everybody please stop advertising in this thread about this or that unobtainable release, until this gets fixed???

why cant i even come in on the site???? my computer tells me that it can´t find the page....... i really want to fly theirs mirages they looks awsome!!!!!

http://www.mirage4fs.com/ here no problems but to go further to the gmax page ..nope , not possible ......... anyone who have the same probs , from where i am sitting it looks like the server it shut down.

It's there at the moment (as I type), and I notice that the "B"-model has joined the "C" and "D" models as available.

Dave

is there any special settings i have to do before i can reach the site???? please help............

Ah!
Frank is being a bit coy with us...
His Mirage site
http://www.mirage4fs.com/
is of course linked, and is the way to get to the Gmax AC downloads.
Just keep trying, it comes and goes... I am sucking down 100MB as I type.

damn i have tried 4 times a day in a week now............. ok i will try your method man.....thanks.....

no it is not working at all i cant come in on the site , is it anyone who have downloaded these migs that can upload them to a place that actually works to download them from ???:wavey:

I just download the single seater Mirage 2000C.
You really must want it to have it.

A lot of work is needed :
Put your favorite relaxing music "on" and be patient :

1. You must use FireFox to enable the download.

2. You must modified many of the 229 x sub-chapters of the CGF File
describing each version available :

2a. around 20 x of these sub-chapters have 2 x identical
ui_variation lines. ( one must be deleted )

2b. around 20 x of these sub-chapters have the ui_variation line put
before the ui_type line.

I think the right order is :
"ui_manufacturer" line
followed by
"ui_type" line
followed by
"ui_variation" line

2c. around 20 x of these sub-chapters have a super very very very long
french description text on the "description" line that must be
deleted ( just keep a simple "Mirage 2000C RDI" )

if not deleted this could shut off your FS9 program by simply
ending a normal flight.

3. I also added as a personal choice, the standard FS9 GPS by
adding the appropriate lines on the "panel" file to "Window06"
enabling the the GPS "pop up" using "shift+6" key.

4. Finally for those interested in historical exact flights be informed
that :

4a. 1/12 "Cambresis" and 2/12 "Picardie" squadrons flown from
Cambrai ( LFQI )

4b. 5/330 "Cote d'Argent" squadron fly from Mont De Marsan ( LFBM )

4c. 1/5 "Vendée", 2/5 "Ile De France" and 3/5 Comtat-Venaissin"
squadrons flown from Orange-Caritat ( LFMO )

4d. 2/2 "Cotes d'Or" and 3/2 "Alsace" squadrons flown from
Dijon-Longvic ( LFSD )

4/33 "Vexin" squadron fly from Djibouti-Ambouli in Africa ( BA188 / HDAM ).

All these french bases are available as detailed FS9 sceneries,
thanks to the team of "French Air Force" here :

Errps! it's actually around 11:00AM Monday morning here chaps, and I'm actually also trying to get some work done, not play with recalcitrant Mirages!
Makes a great 5-minute break, though ;)

Well FWIW Chrome actually works as well, if you use Frank's Mirage site as a backdoor entry.

I got lucky with those I guess. They seem to always trigger the correct pages. Things must have been more direct that first weekend.

The trick is to get to the individual aircraft pages. If you click on the " Les Projets " link along the top of their main page you'll get to a page with a list of everything they've done or will release soon. Follow those individual links to get to the individual aircraft pages.
:ernae:

Well please keep getting lucky! :applause: and update your links as time goes on.
Chrome does not display those tabs, don't know about other browsers.
So your site is the only way in.
FWIW this is what you see:

I've found that the "Les Projects" tab is only visible (in both IE8 and Firefox) if I reduce the browser from 'full-screen' to 'windowed'.

Very strange coding of the website.....

Dave

We are not allowed to do so.
It's their route - or not at all. Your choice.

Dave
