Hs 129 is in the paintshop!

See the attached for the correct description of Red J. From all the research I have done, the desert planes did not use the splinter pattern. Most were tan/brown and green with blue underside of RLM 80 (Olive Green) over RLM 79 (Yellow/Brown) with RLM 65 undersides with white theater stripe on the tail section.

The second shows the 70/71 with an over spray of 79.

The third and fourth picture will show additional information on the plane you have shown (Red J)with the dark shading. It seems that someone just browned the original correct 70/71/65 skin to make it appear desert, which it is not.

But my skin isn't historicall correct , only beautyfull.

Ted's correct, red J was used on the Eastern front, it has the yellow theatre band on the fuselage for a start, plus a few other bits and pieces, MTO aircraft had white ones!

Hunter I've no problem doing a fictional skin, but that will have to wait until we release, then I'll upload a fictional skin or two, but skins only!

You'll have plenty of very nice historic skins to choose from anyhow, when we release!

When .....

John is just finishing up the cockpit. We have 5 planes done. 3 for Europe and 2 for North Africa. Just have to make the LODs which will be easy since polycount is low with this plane so maybe 4 lods are needed. The Romanian one will have bombs and a gun pod for loadouts. One European B2 will have wing bombs as an option. The others will just have the gun pod.

Maybe Saturday or Sunday .... who knows for sure it is up to John as soon as he finishes the cockpits. He just tidied up the Lancaster so he is working hard.

Loadouts

will the gun pods be a selectable loadout, or will they be a part of the aircraft's standard armament?

For the Romanian version the pod will be a selectable loadout, for the others it is modeled in. The B3 version did not carry bombs anyway so it is not big deal. The other B2's, the Germans rarely carried bombs at all, except on the wings. So these are modeled according to what I can tell were the most frequently used variants.

Oh, I developed a mission flying from Altenstadt into Western Czechoslovakia where there are plains and man what a blast attacking tank formations ...

Wet your .....

Here is the cockpit. I have sent it to a tester and when he says its good....
