Introducing the Avia 51

No mate... I don't have the 'hickups'.... (hic).... just admiring that fine paint on the '51' and fixin' to toss another lot of fish on the fire. You just gotta love those New Zealanders. Now be a good bloke and pour me another gulper.

BB686:USA-flag:

You just earned yerself a double gulper Bravo-Bravo; Greek style fish over charcoal, doused with olive oil and lemon juice - who could resist such fine fare...

Hey Nigel, that's one cool Kiwi paint for the Avia 51 :applause: :applause:

Now if I could just find one for real life ops.

Thanks :icon29:

Pete.

Cheers Pete!

Try this;

Load up your computer in the ute, head for your bank, plonk your set-up on that idiot bank manager's desk, set up the flight and DEMAND;

"I've spent a year doing the homework, now pull YOUR finger out from where you've been hiding it, and darn well put me in business!"

Yeah!
But never fear, in NZ simland, we have just the place for this one.

Cheers matey :icon29::icon29::icon29:

Bugger!

Any more screenshots like that, Wing and I'm going Maori!

Well, here is what FTX did to that location...
I suspect there is an interloper in here, running Some Other Microsoft Product.
That would be ORBX NZSI, then? Good mesh.
Just to explain: In the lower shot, the floating cigar-shaped object is only visible at certain times of the year, when there is a Hobbit in residence on Mitre Peak.

Well yes, that "other" software. Too bad those FS9 sims from Milton and gang work so well that other land. ;-) Hobbit? Hobbit's are tough and have stringy meat. Don't taste good at all.

ORBX is ultra detailed add-on scenery pay ware. And as the X in the name implies designed for that other FS version. I don't know if it is cool to post a link to their page...so just do a google search.

It is nice looking for sure.

Meanwhile back in the shop, the heavy lifting continues on the Av-57, working inside now on the cockpit and cabin.

Just getting started so she's a bit austere.

Fellas, help me on this!

Wasn't there a single-radial-engined Avia? Like the 156, but with a radial. I've reviewed the first 34 pages of this thread and haven't found it, so that should be a clue. However, I'm convinced I flew it a while back. Am I dreaming?

You stopped too soon. :) Not yet released but in beta.

The Avia 56, a 6-passenger, single engine radial, was the intended follow-on project for Robert Nebesar after the Avia 51. The Avia Rr-29 radial depicted here had problems so they changed plans and the prototype to install the v12 liquid cooled and rebadged her as the 156.

We thought the Avia 56 would have been a great plane and wanted to fly her. So we created what the Rr-29 would not allow, the Avia 56.

Will probably release it this weekend if all goes well.

She comes with wheels, floats, amphibs, and skis, 6 models and 8-10 paints.

Thanks for your interest. :)

Sins of the flesh...

The bones of this most amazing ship being expertly meated out. :applause:

A pure sin of the flesh if you ask me.

Can't wait to be in THERE!:jump:

Got myself a little 'runabout' to move faster from hangar to hangar.
Legs are killing me from all this racing around at Cheb.

The '56' is looking really sharp in those paint schemes, Nigel. I really like the "Airplane Safari" skin for the amphib. You have captured that 'classic essence', one of the traits that the '56' has and wears like no other.

Bravo-Bravo, glad to see you're hooked on these babies (you certainly know how well they handle too).

Just imagine; the best is yet to come as Milton has already kindly shown us.

I'm grounded for the time being - a lot of building to be done at Cheb for this rapidly expanding fleet.

Ok I can't stand it. Here's a little screenie to incent you guys to get that 56 completed! I have passengers waiting :salute:

C-WOPR. I like that Nigel. Perfect!

Lol! Thought you Fishing Buddies would catch the yarn ...C-BIGN and SX-BITE registries are on reserve hold. :icon_lol:

Yup! Most appropriate for an angler's tale. :)

Great scenery dvj.

Milton has these fine aircraft undergoing thorough Beta testing,
So I expect shipments to all you anxious haulers will commence fairly soon (but don't work too hard, take some time off for yourselves and try a spot of fishin' or sightseeing.

The incentive is now focused on bringing forward the much awaited Avia 57.

...and that's one whole lot of incentive!
