Ito San did it again: a Fokker D.XXIII available

remember though guys i've still gotta correct the spinners on a couple of the Dutch ones, but i hope you understand that those'll have to wait while i work on Miltons 'Rounder' :salute:

These are really outstanding!
Thanks a lot Matt :)
My favourites are the fictional repaints - especially the RAF models.

Cheers again, Stuart :icon29:

I am doing some repaints of my own on this bird... There seems to be an "on the model" area on the rear engine side vents or air intakes... just aft and below the cockpit that I cannot paint over.... how did you get rid of it?id you reverse-engineered the model?

You're correct in that it's a modeled area on the fuselage, thus you can't paint over it to eliminate it. It shows on all of Matt's paints as well.

It'd a shame....

It is really a pity that the Great Ito is so set in his ways about some things... as well as others... there is a really nice model of the Dragon Rapide... that adolesces of the same
peculiarity... there is spar in the middle of the fuselage (black jagged line) that really renders any "realistic" painting approach impossible...
and while on the subject... it would really be a nice thing if all designers decided to label maps so repainters can do an apt job...
I am repainting a Marting Mercator that DOES NOT have the center area or the wings or the fuselage mapped... see below
