Is there any trick/conversion with which I can make the textures visible under DX10 or is this a material-thingy under 3dsmax?
Built into the model, so there's nothing you can do.
There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.
If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.
Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

+1...Thanks for your help AZ1USN!!!!!
I´ll try that!
There must be a trick obviously since "Addon Converter X" from Flightsimtools.com can make them visible.Built into the model, so there's nothing you can do.

You can check this out on their demo.
Yeah, same land of beer, just on the other side... "wo die Kühe noch glücklich sind" = Allgäu.
Anyway, did some nice flights in the Mig but my FS9 mdl days are definitely over so the Mig had to go.
Thanks for the tip... as a Memminger of course I do have Marcus Carra's fantastic rendition of EDJA (I live underneath the Final to RWY 06, ca. 700 m from the thresholdAh. In case you don't know there's a FSX scenery for "Allgäu Intl" aka Memmingen out there.

I haven't flown it for a awhile though it is parked in the hanger right next to the new MF. Will have to do so and look at the attitude indicator. If it isn't a part of the model perhaps one from another MiG could be substituted?1. Anyone else noticed that the attitude indicator shows pitch up/down, but not roll? I know Russian gauges are a bit different, but the MF version works fine .... am I missing something? The fact that it's for FS9 originally?
2. A/B effect. I have subbed out various reheat effects countless times - this time, I'm stumped. I really like the MF's effect - so, intending to copy that over, I found that both share the same effect file:
light.0=9, -17.00, 0.0, -0.55, fx_mig21forsaz,
how can this be? The MF effect is completely different (redder, smaller,)
thanks,
dl

Can the AB effect from the MF be swapped into this one?
:ernae:
1) The gauge in question is "MiG21F13!Attitude" under [VCockpit02].Well, I thought I'd try swapping out the Attitude Indicator myself ...
First, a general question. If a panel.cfg has both a "main panel" and a "vcockpit", I'm assuming, I'd assume that I'd want to sub the offending gauge out of both, correct?
1) Looking at the panel.cfg of the recipient - the F model - I don't see anything that looks like a attitude indicator/artificial horizon.
2) Looking at the donor panel.cfg - the new MF model - I see very few flight gauges. I am right in assuming this is what Frank refers to the gauges being "part of the model", and that I cannot borrow from this model?
3) Suggestions on a suitable alternative? Ideally, the same funky Russian style AI style ...
Sorry this is painful - but surely all you guys still flying the F model must have had to deal with this ...
thanks,
