Another gem, K Ito is a star. How he manages to knock out these models with such regularity is a mystery.

Downloaded this Acrft this morning, but haven't loaded it up yet. Question do the wings fold ? Looking at a book I have "The Warplanes of the Third Riech" by "William Green" the Fiesler had some pretty fantastic flight characteristics, "Flight trials revealed the fact the Fi 167 V1 possessed truly exceptional low-speed characteristics, and throttled back and with elevators fully up, the aircraft simply sank slowly and almost vertically. on one ocasion, with Gerhard Fiesler at the controls the aircraft "sank" 9,800ft. to an altitude of a 100 ft. above the ground while remaining continuously over one spot." Pretty fantastic stuff. I think this one will definitely be worth enlisting an expert airfile guy to have a look see.

Sorry to say this is even worse, immediate crash on scenery loading.

Yes mine tips left too

Downloaded the Fieseler Fi-167, and on engine start or when trying to take off, it tips to the left bad enough to dig a wingtip into the runway.I had a similar problem with the Nieuport 17 I downloaded a while back but this is worse. The only way I can take off with either is slew them into the air. Wonder if there's any fix for these planes?

My bad

Opps ,somehow my realism setting somehow got knocked up to full,I usually keep them a little below halfway, changed them back all the way left and both planes work fine.I'am slowly moveing them right till I get just the right amount of torque.
Thanks for the reply, sorry I was so dumb as not to check that they hadn't moved.

Sorry some of you are having issues with this aircraft. Only problem I have is landing - one bouncy bird - have alot of tail dragger time - real and simulated - neither helps with this one!

Trying to make a new prop texture for this one - still a work in progress - as it showed up as 2-bladed, not the intended 3 blade blur.

Maybe you folks can answer a question from another thread. I know the regard and affection for K. Ito and his wonderful models he produces. However it is also known that his models are often enough afflicted with cfg issues. My question is does anyone have it on good authority that he is OK with cfg mods, without need for direct permission, provided they correct problems, contribute to his great work and are made available to all? I'm e-mailing him now but was wondering if this is an accepted condition already.

Just to show you a sneaky peak of paintkit progress... got all the lines on as you can see just working on the Fuselage Currently...

Yep, if you read his readme file, his biggest concern is the use of his models in Combat Sims. He does not advocate war and does not want his aircraft converted for use in any of the Combat Sims. Otherwise, his request that any repaints be saved in the same format as the original is the only other restriction. Personally, whenever I do repaints of his (not very much any more) that I do for myself (in FSX) I do the textures twice size and save as 32bit. But I don't release any of the work I do either, it's just for my own use.
