Prepar3D v3 Screenshots

I confirm it works. Here parked in Bowerman, next to the coffee house :)

There is an env.dds in the texan's texture folder. However, I confirm Daube's post that the dynamic reflections seem to work. I tried it on several locations and the actual environment is indeed reflected.

I will check the mdl in MCX later to see the settings.

Henry,

is this the Carenado Cessna 337? This has me itching to buy for quite a while. The only thing is that there is no real military variant, which I'm mainly interested in.

Cheers,
Mark

Yes, Mark, the Carenado 337. There are a fair number of USAF repaints to resemble the O2-A, less so with the USN. Here are some file names to search:

rl_c337_n22md.zip
peanut2.zip
carenado_337-o2a_od.zip
9lives.zip

I believe the only military alternative is at FSD. Their O-2 even seems to have a specific VC, from what I could see in the screenshots. I don't know if it's really a FSX native version, or a FS9 port-over...

I have the FSD version, it is plagued by a lot of weird problems in P3D. I think it's a port-over.

If Henry keeps posting the Carenado shots, I'll probably give up my resistance. :)

I finally installed P3D.3, ORBX Australia and a couple of 'my' Victorian GA fields.
Just had to give it a whirl.
Loaded my favourite Duke and I'm convinced!
Very basic so far but I think FSX has outlived it's welcome on my system.
One question from a noob, will Hoger's Mesh for FSX Australia work in P3D?

Edit: The current version does work in v.3.
Should have checked first .......... another Senior Moment.
