Some basic questions that I can't figure out from the manual or checklist:

1. How do I turn the electrical system completely off? I can shut down the engine by moving the mixture lever to 0. And I can disconnect the generator. But there are still lights in the cockpit.

2. How do I start the engine? (Assuming I don't use control-E.)

I'm curious for that to. No matter if you start with a default plane (like the cessna) and put it all dark, once the A-7 is selected.....the cockpit lights show up. Must be modeled coded I'm afraid..
About the engine start....they didn't modeled that, so only with the CTRL-E command will get your engine running.......

One last possible solution for the HUD and than I don’t know anything more to say about it. I tried moving my head so that the horizon line was in the right place and then stopping TrackIR. Because there are no head movements with TrackIR off, collimation is not needed… I thought (at the expense of having only forward view, but on finals that is not a problem). But it turns out that the HUD not only is not collimated, but that the symbology moves also when the airplane moves. If I pull the nose up the HUD horizon and all other stuff goes up with it. It is not entirely fixed on the HUD, but it isn’t fixed relative to the outside world either. If you cannot, or don’t want to, collimate the HUD, is it possible to make the symbology independent of aircraft movements?

I have TrackIR 2dof config for non-collimated HUDs. It works.

Wishing everybody all the success they desire making changes. As for this Old Crow, enjoying it a bunch as is. I even hit the carrier last night. Think i sunk it. But, I hit it!!

Got the update and loving it. A great product that I will use a lot it seems!

I could not find how to download the manual. The link posted a few pages back doesn't seem to work and I can not find it anyware on the Razbam site or my account. Can you point me to a link?

No, I don't have A-7 yet. I've lost my job, and don't have money to spend on a hobby. I've tried it in Acceleration Hornet, Sludge Hornet (a modification of Acc F/A-18), Dino's Goshawk and F-14.
 
Some sounds seem to be missing:

1. Flaps (defined in sound.cfg, but the file named there is absent from the sound folder)
2. Wingfold (not defined in sound.cfg)

It works for the Acceleration Hornet. But not for the A-7.
 
I had a short string of good traps, then long a string of tip-overs. What made a big difference: bringing the total fuel weight down to about 4,000 pounds. After I did that, I managed five traps in a row.

That will bring you down to the max weight for carrier landing.

The engine start button is located in an inaccesable part of the throttle. That's why we didn't model a start button. The only ways is to used the keyboard combination for engine start.

Sorry for saying so, but it won't! Yes everything gets "dark" in the sense the battery goes off etc, but NOT the red light on the panel,while all the three cockpit lights are turned off before the MASTER GEN switch is flipped to off.
