Then of course...it's a flying wing...so Horten probably had a look-in on the project..... way back in WW2 ...

I had done a web image search on Avro Vulcan. The green is much darker. Look at the recent flying restoration. :salute:

It's the Horten Ho2 glider artwork from 1937...I think I'll end up on the IRS watch list if I download that skin. :mix-smi:

Thanks, Tommy...Yeah, I try to keep away from repaints with the swastika too; the old folks still get upset if they see this stuff flying on my computer.......
BTW, it's a nice repaint Jafo!

Thanks, Tommy...[I hope you're messing with my PaintKit]...

Bump mapping is an absolute pain in the bum ...particularly if you try to upscale the res. I've had a few goes at it...and wisely moved on to other things...I am currently banging my head against the wall with a redo of one of my older Martin Mars repaints. It's the %$#@ bump mapping that is driving me nuts, as I've always depended on the default bump mapping for my repaints, but I wanted to learn how to create my own custom bump mapping. I am finally making some headway, but it's slow going.......

I am dealing with 1024 textures with the Virtavia Martin Mars to keep FPS up on my computer system. However, 1024 really places limits on bump mapping especially when it comes to rivets; larger texture files such as 2048 give you much more leeway in sizing and locating the rivets relative to each other. Once I get my Martin Mars repaint done (if I get it done), I might have a look see at adding custom rivet bump maps to my Russian repaint shown below.....boy o boy, that should look brutal....

I didn't think bumps were available for the A12....
SkippyBing ....thanks for the RGB colour link...
Here's the full camo ver in those exact values.....

...assuming of course that the full wrap uses the same ones....
...and the half camo...

I used the light grey from the linked colours listed on that one already....but if it needs to be lighter still....easy-peasy....as long as I get the right shade of 255 [or more] ....Nice! One little comment though; from what I've seen, the early Vulcans with 'half camo' had a lighter grey belly, while the later ones (Like the Black buck missions to the Falklands) had a darker grey on the bottom.
