  • Special Server Maintenance

Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

    Thank you for your support.

I received an email from Just Flight announcing that the Areosoft F-14 Extended package is on sale at 30% off until 10:00 am UK time tomorrow (Tuesday). As a Tailhook Navy type guy I'm thinking this is an offer I can't refuse. Comments?

You'll love it. You'll also get the Kitty Hawk and if you have Tacpack all weapons functionality. LANTIRN Flir is also included but TARPS is not.

SimMarket 40% off select Alabeo

40% off select Alabeo aircraft @ Alabeo.com and SimMarket (more outlets may follow).

Just Flight Alabeo Sale - 40% off most models

Just announced at Just Flight:

http://justflight.com/category/alabeo-october-sale

The most recent Alabeo releases aren't included, but everything from the C400 Corvalis TT on back seems to be there.
So for those who might want to pick up some of the older Alabeo`s.

Thanks - RobM

PS and the same Alabeo sale also just announced at the Flightsim Pilot shop. So I assume all the other usual FSX retailers
will follow suite in due course.

Steam is having a big flash sale. Most things 50% off. I think you have to have Steam edition to get the DLC.
