• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

I completed the red livery of 8365 NMC #40 and began another red livery of a QF-4B from the Pacific Missile Test Center.
My choice fell on 8386 #46 "Great Pumpkin / Chip's Go-Kart".

I'm stuck on a detail. There is a small badge at the top of the rudder.
I can see two wings surrounding a pattern that I cannot identify.
Is it a globe, a wheel, a face, a logo, ...?
Is it a unit badge, the insignia of a PMTC departement, a marking for the success of a test or a mission, the logo of a company which provides equipment for drone aircraft, etc.?

Does anyone have any information or photos of this badge?
Thank you for any responses you may have.

This logo appears on several QF-4s, but not always in the same place.

Really beginning to enjoy flying low and slow, with the J-3 Cub and this Kitfox Speedster. Little tour of the Caribbean, starting from the challenging field of SVDM.

I continued my investigations concerning this mysterious marking.
This new research showed that it also appears on several QT-33 drones and a detail photo of a QF-4N allowed me to draw it.
I find a virile side to it but I still don't know why it was applied to the drones!
