Special Server Maintenance
Just when you think you have everything running some what better...
You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.
- November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
- November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
- November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
- November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.
If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.
To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

Photobucket problems i'm sure. They want you to pay for services now. The grimy little buggers!!! Have the same problem on other flight sim sites also.

Yea Rob, photobucket want paying now to link pics to forums, so everything I had with them will not show anymore, I've binned it anyhow now, so I'm afraid all the photobucket shots are gone!

It's the old Spitfire Mk 5b Loic, I used the night fighter version I painted at Reg's Hangar. It should be in the ETO install too?

Yeah, that really redefines texturing: The nose now truly seems to made of tin foil and it's easy to see why aircraft skin does not do much to stop a bullet...

Every time I think crap its time to roll up the the canvas and so something else, John takes one of mediocre models and makes her ..... well no words.
Oh, BTW, John seems so nice and supportive in the threads but you just need to work with him he wants what he wants. The problem is is is usually right.
This makes me very happy and inspired to get the others done.
