Start by reducing the EnvReflection and Glossiness settings in d3d8.ini if it's an issue on every aircraft.

If it's only one aircraft then look into reducing the brightness of the _s.dds or _r.dds files.

Thanks mate, it definitely related to a few aircraft only and they do have a _s.dds file.
I have DXTBmp program to open the dds and then export it into Paint is that enough to make the brightness change or do I need a better graphics program?

I don't often consider the built in option to provide both summer (_t.dds) and winter (_w.dds) skins for the same aircraft.

Haven't had the time. Only installed the new Ankor's shaders in ETO,MAW ,and BoB Mk1... Cant wait till they are all done ! Haven't even had the time to fix my broken PTO R. S. ! Keep 'em coming ! It boosts my morale ! Lovely all, especially you 65olshool, and all ! Kind regards, scott...
