The traditional post here if you are up and running P3

Ordered my copy February 3rd and I received it today. That's five days, not to bad. The game installed in three minutes again, not to bad Clicked on OFF Manager made my tweaks and was in the air in two minutes.

Graphics look great, game plays with a FR of 48-58 not stutters or wierdness. Pretty happy so far. Now if the MP issues get fixed I will be a happy camper.

OH. Did I mention I am running Vista ultimate 64?
 
Ordered my copy January 15th and received it today! But, Boy! It was worth the wait.

Installed. No issues at all. Fired it up. Love the inteface, so slick. And the new map is so much better. Then into the sim itself... my jaw dropped... running on max skins and scenery with clouds down a notch, well it's breath-taking and nary a framerate hiccough in sight. Perfect.

Total kudos to the OFF team, you boys done us proud :applause::applause::applause:.
 
Hey Axegrinder. Is your avatar pic from the Air Force Museum at WPAFB? I live only a few miles from there.

Up & Running

I received the game within like 4 days of ordering, and installed it last nite, no problems at all.

This game is a breath of fresh air after having been stuck with old WWI simulators for so long :)

Up and running without a hitch. XP Pro sp3, Q6600 overclocked to 2.84, overclocked ATI 4870 512, 2 gigs ram, 150 gig Raptor. Clean install CFS3 patched to 3.1, OFF P3 1.0 patched to 1.1. All sliders at 4 flying in "Free Flight" FPS 25-55. Runs fine and looks great!

Order on Feb 2nd 09 - Recieved on Feb 6th. Outstanding service. There will be blood tonight (mostly mine I'm sure).

Installed flawlessly. Setup the graphics almost full tilt right out of the gate and the game runs smoothly (my Rig has an AMD 9950 quad, Nvidia 216oc and 4 megs of ram). All I can say is WOW! this was one great purchase. If you loved RedB3 or Dawn Patrol, Wings of Glory or Aces Highs you will love this product. If you have any doubt about what your buying you will not be disappointed. I don't work for these guys in fact I only heard about this project 2 weeks agos but man am I glad I found you guys. :woot:

Ah, yes! Dawn Patrol! I plan to be there--if I'm not flying BHAH!

To be honest, I have never been to a Dawn Patrol, even though I have been to the AFM several times. Hope to see you there. :wavey:
 
P3 is up and runnig, although a few hiccups

Had a couple of errors, about the config file, so I put it back to default, ran it, then tweaked it.

ONE FLIGHT, A GERMAN , IN A DR1, AND I WAS MOST IMPRESSED. My only real issue is that I am getting poor FPS, so will have to turn the sliders back.

Thought a NVid GeForce 8800 GTX would work, but at 5 4 4 4 3 it's struggles at around 6 at airfields to 10 elsewhere.

Arrived in Oz a few weeks ago ....

.... but I was over in Western Australia on holiday so didn't get a chance to install until my recent return back to Sydney. Pleased to report install went fine, no problem with disc or simple install instructions. Installed via ubisoft dvd without installing cfs3 and consequently no disc insertion required to play ... alright !!! ... :Banane09:. And the installer does everything for you ... no mucking about. The boys have done good eh ! I hope all Aussies/Kiwis have received their copies by now ?

Anyway, it's good to be back. I hope everybody has been behaving themselves and spreading the love :kiss:.

british_eh see the FAQ fro config help. Maybe try lower your terrain to 3.
 
Tally-ho. Took exactly 14 days from shipped status to delivery (Sweden). Installed using the CFS3 DVD I bought for the purpose, fiddled a bit with the settings then thought oh to hell with it and took off in an Albatros DII in the middle of a snow storm. Seemed to work alright, really sluggish in the controls and I believe the graphics settings reset at some point. Now I'll calibrate my newly installed stick, find out what keys to map and then practise takeoffs and landings. Rust never sleeps.

If I'm a good boy I'll probably do a first Campaign mission. February 1917, Jasta 13 tonight. If I live for two months I'll try to request transfer to Jasta 5. Or rather, when I manage to get a pilot through two months, then he'll be ready for Jasta 5.
 
A big heartful thanks to Henry for re registering me and am able to post again.

Installed P3 fine was easy as easy gets. Fired up fine and flies just great. I know it's being worked on ...the AI lawnmowers drive me nuts...

Thank you OFF team for all the effort and it's well worth the 60 bucks, I think so ....just don't ask the wife.
