• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

  • Server side Maintenance is done. We still have an update to the forum software to run but that one will have to wait for a better time.

A couple of pages back in this thread I saw that you had a couple of detailed lay-outs of the Karel Doorman. Can you tell me where you got those? They could come in handy while I am realising the scale model:encouragement:

Don't expect too much from these drawings. These are more sketches, as in most cases the scale of the different views is not correct.

Well, the manual that came with the model isn't really clear in a lot of places, so any other documents are welcome...

Can you give me an idea what the back of the Island (the top) looks like? I can reconstruct a lot, but some part remain obscure to me.

I am out of the country at the moment for a Business trip, so it won't be untill friday evening or saturday that i will have access to my scale model again.
The island isn't painted yet but I will send you some pics this coming weekend!

Although most likely not exactly what you have been looking for, but you can see the back side of the tower several times in these movies and they are quite entertaining :biggrin-new:
