Hawker Sea Hawk P3D FSX 10_16

If I'm not mistaken the font on the present day airplane is different. The cover of the Warpaint shows the more rounded font.

Cees..

The shot on the cover of Warpaint shows how 188 was.. not how it is now mate:encouragement:

@ Peter..Thanks for the wingtip pointer mate. I'd probably have missed that until I'd released it:dizzy:

The Dutch Sea Hawk 123 painted by Peter originally had the registration number 6-58. I painted the 6-58 as 1958 is my year of birth. Although thee are already that many similar repaints available I do not intend to upload it, but I think I will keep it as my personal ride.

Still "work in progress" as I want to add some of the original maintenance stencils.

Cheers,
Huub

edit: I just found out that the 6-58 was not renumbered into 123, but into 118.....

Huub,

might be prudent to share it, you never know, bad things happen, your computer could cry fowl and you find your back up discs are corrupt. easier to download it again than start from scratch, lol.

Righty ho. I don't have the will to fight the model/mapping anymore so this is as far as I'm willing to take WV908..

The usual T&C's apply.

I'm all too aware of the differences between IT and the real aircraft having spent the last 2 days trying to narrow them (black cannon surrounds and wing-tip underside grey to name but two).:dizzy:

Enjoy!!!

Ah.. I have that series on DVD but had forgotten all about it:banghead:

As long as you don't look V E R Y long and hard at the 188 paint while comparing it to the real thing.. it does a fair job of passing muster. Suggested viewing distance around 15nm:biggrin-new:

I need one of Cees paints to go with KD now:encouragement:

New cat values to make the Sea Hawk sit correctly on the Majestic class cat (the original values put it far behind the main gear holdback).

[launch_assistance]
launch_bar_pivot=1.8, 0.00, -0.9
launch_bar_lug=-4.5, 0.00, -6.0

I used the new cat values to test my first version of the Karel Doorman....Thank you Arno Gerretsen for ModelConverterX 1.4! Landed cable-assisted and took of with the catapult. Obviouly this is a W.I.P. It will take quit some time to finish this one.

Happy!

Cees
