F7F Tigercat SOH Project

It's Christmas morniing, and my (adult) kids are sleeping in. The wife is in the kitchen getting things ready for the afternoon feast, so finally I have a chance to do some flying.

Took up the F7F for a leisurely flight to Boeing field. Set the ADF to 281.0, took off on runway 34 and headed towards Seattle. Crusing at 3,000 ft the ADF picked up Boeing Field and came in for a nice landing despite the low clouds and rain. Very enjoable flight.

Thanks again Milton and the SOH Team for a great WIP. :ernae:

I guess I'm just gonna consider this done for now. After all, it is just an interim repaint until the final model is released.

Nice video. Like a herd of Harleys getting in step. I loved the animation of the prop throughout the rpm ranges..something flightsim really lacks. I kept waiting for the other engine to fire.

Ah Claudius; very well done :applause:

In the future, you may consider dropping the fuel tank to improve weight/performance, aerodynamics, and be more visually appealing.

Your videos are always smooth and well orchestrated; very nicely done. Thank you for sharing them.

Thanks Milton

Thank you Milton, your airplanes are excellent and your contributions to the hobby are more than excellent. Have a Happy New Year!!!!:jump:
