Upload MiG-21MF at AVSIM

If there is any interest I am willing to upload the layered bare metal masters once I have had a chance too tweak them to the metal model.

The bare metal model...does it have reflective texturing enabled or just a lot of specular shine?

Material properties with specular shine.

The holes of the rear brake are created with an alpha channel.
The model can produce unpleasant effects of smoothing. I'll try it later.

First update of the MiG-21MF is uploaded.
Model with specular shine effect for metal repaints.

Additional display conditions for the payload. The payload of the FS enter the correct weight for the corresponding component is seen.

Improper loading (payload vs fuel) blocked the thrust lever to IDLE position.

Ok the update is available, I will be uploading some bare metal schemes later tonight. This update also means I will have to update all my previous cammo schemes updates will be released as soon as poss so that they can be used with the new model.

Decided to take the new MiG up for a quick check flight, Seems that the model is more crisp looking, it comes with an added 2D panel as well as the VC. Also seems a bit more tricky to fly, I had the usual problems landing it smoothly at first, but finally got the hang of it. Always thought Flusirainer's MiG-21 was an excellent model, even for a beta. With SteveB's repaints it has become a perminant resident in my virtual hangar... along with lots of other Russian cold war kerosene burners.

Steve, I'm curious as to the need for updating your previous paints. Flusi provided both the camo and metal models, and all your previous camo repaints work great on the camo model.

First 6 metal schemes have now been uploaded.
Warhorse47, non of my cammo releases have any weapons textures included in them, so I will be retrofitting the textures to include them.

Wow. You have been busy. I'm going to have to take some time off the day job to install and fly all these. Thanks to Flusi for the updated model and thanks to you for the repaints.
