I'd be delighted ti see a Lodestar; I'd be even happier if Milton was hinting at an A-20, because that can cover an awful lot of options.

I am surprised no-one has done an Aermacchi MB326. It was operated by more than 15 countries, and produced under license in three. It was popular with pilots who flew it (myself included), and operationally it was successful in shooting down four Mi-24s and two Mi-17s. Plenty of reference material available.

Been done several times. Just do a search at Flightsim and you'll find 2 or 3 different models.
 
One and only one: the Grumman Bearcat. I've flown a couple of versions, and they're fine models, but I'd love a new one with a nicer VC. Someday I'll have to teach myself to use GMAX...

Actually Nigel, there were 3 or 4 ahead of me mentioning the Lodestar. I've been wanting one too. But no matter what Milton does decide to make, it'll be top notch!

Neil, the last Wilga that I remember for FS9 caused quite a stir here! And I don't mean in a good way either.. Shame really as it was quite a nice aircraft.

It wasn't the plane itself that caused the up-roar. It was the luggage "racks" as I recall.

Damn, I can't believe I forgot this one so I hope all will indulge me whilst I cheat a bit again. If there's a designer out there who's good at doing ultralights I would really love to see as FS2004 treatment of one of the best ultralights ever to take flight, the Ultraflight Lazair. The Lazair was a simple yet sophisticated design that is well known for its excellent handling and flying characteristics. A few years ago over at the Lazair forum someone was working on a FS version and seemed to make excellent progress, even accurately depicting the Lazair's transparent Tedlar covering, but unfortunately the project never achieved final fruition

If the Lazair had any shortcoming it was in the power department. Originally powered by 8.5 hp, two-stroke Pioneer chainsaw engines the aircraft has gone through a series of engine types, the most common being small, two stroke, single cylinder Rotax's that were designed to run water pumps for fire fighting. Since then the pursuit of a good, reliable, lightweight engine has led some to experiment with Honda go-kart racing engines, but a recent and very interesting development has been the adaptation of electric power for the Lazair by Dale Kramer, the Lazair's original designer, that may provide the motive power to take the aircraft well into the future.

Wow !!! I had no idea my little post would gather so much steam !!! Alot of thinking and great ideas going on here !!! And since I have never flown a Pucara for real, I have a sense that vets of the Falklands War would be happy to have it, either British or Argentine ... I would love to have a high-end FS rendition of the Pilatus P-3 I have flown ....

LOL I remember the luggage racks fondly. And still fly the little birdie on occasion. Still can't quite resolve that it caused the ruckus.

Very interesting thread, this, especially to see how much interest there is in the Bucc. As Andy rightly pointed out, we've been doing one (should I say Skippy and Fraser have) for the last millennium over at Flying Stations that one day will see the light of day for FSX. Not sure if a port over to 9 is possible but seeing as there is so much interest I would not say it is impossible. But I make no offerings on timelines for that.

And while these next items do not address anyone else's wishlists here, my next projects will be: a new Hawker Sea Hawk for FS9 and FSX, Bristol Beaufort, Canberra fighter canopy versions and the American tandem seat Canberras. Not necessarily in that order but I think the Sea Hawk is on deck next after I conclude the Canberra bomber canopy series before I'm 80.

but i too am of the Properliner faith... i like to see the spinny bit outside the engine, not in a case.... i'm an avid warbird lover too, which reminds me.... Nigel, them C-47's still stuck at Sedes? :icon_lol:

Yep! The C's are still there, sadly, minus engines I think.
 
hmm.... wonder if the HAF would accept a £35k for one of them... yeah £35k in my bank for property usage only.... but my parents & Grandparents did not state for what kind of property :icon_lol: if for housing.... no worries i can always whack a double bed in a C-47 and a lounge :icon_lol:
