C-47 (FS9) uploaded

Thanks Dustin for the Catalina Flying Boats C-47's :applause: :applause:

They're a couple of great paints.

:ernae: :ernae:

Pete.

I was hoping someone would do an L2D livery, Domo Arigato Lazerbeak ! Mike :ernae:
どういたしまして。 :)

It is not 100% accurate. It's because Showa L2D had different engines, and 3 more windows behind the cockpit. But it's close enough for people who wants to try to fly Japanese DC-3.

After more modifications, added more weathering, I think it's ready for upload.

I have a few European schemes underway at the mo. Just needs to finish up the alpha channels on them.

Aaaahhh: Luftwaffe's 14+07!
Nice one, Steve! :applause:

Did this scheme on the MAAM Dak before.
One comment, if you don't mind:
Outside cowling was painted dayglo orange, nose cone was dayglo orange with black vertical and horizontal lines.
At the 'nose tip', there was a small white hexagon (black outlined), showing "07".
MATS had a comparable symbol in yellow.

Cheers,
Markus.

Cheers Marcus , I only had an old black and white poor quality photo of the aircraft, all info is good, are you planning any Luftwaffe schemes for this model ?

Steve

... are you planning any Luftwaffe schemes for this model ?

Currently not, mate. They are all yours!
If you're intersted, I could shoot some reference material concerning Luftwaffe Dakotas to you.
Just uploading to mediafire (it's a 73 MB monster!), link will be sent via PM once upload is finished.

Cheers,
Markus.

Hey Steve, any chance of a Bush Flying Unlimited paint job? Thanks in advance. Take care.

Ed

ok i'm officially scared, you spying on my PC there buddy? started it an hour ago, just roughing some ideas out.... before i start on my selection i have picked :ernae:

Ed,

how does this style of scheme strike you? painted to look brand new and restored using Matte finish paints (for now till i finish making my Alpha channel masters)...

Sweeet, but I've never seen a pristine BFU before. Since y'all seem to be in the mood -- so to speak -- could we convince ya to put out a beat up, weathered one as well? please, please, please.

i suppose i could beat the old girl up a bit.... and you mentioned in the mood and i'm listening to my Glenn Miller CD... you sure you lot ain't spying on me? :icon_lol:

ok the dirtying process has started, heres the first pic of getting some dirt and chips on.... 0307GMT and that does it for tonight, time for a nap to resume in the erm.... morning (around 0800ish i'd imagine :icon_lol: )

The BFU paint is looking great mate. I am hoping that you will make it a clean and dirty combo.

Cheers
Stefan

Glenn Miller's stuff occupies most of my add-on CD/radio'channels. Something about his music just makes whipping around the sky in an old prop plane almost a religious experience. A String of Pearls is currently playing as I type this.
