F7F Tigercat SOH Project

Just got off from work at the hospital at 11PM MST, and come home to see even more! It's taking shape sooo rapidly; just watching a masterpiece be born, piece by piece. :ernae:

It's amazing how fast this is coming together. Almost as fast as the day goes when you're working in Gmax..Lol... Excellent work Milton :wavey:

Part by part, poly by poly, lots of fun going on here right now.

Just finished up the main and general nose gear construction with most of it animated. Nose doors to be cut in tonight and tomorrow to finish up all gear stuff. This weekend will be canopy time, always a challenge to get them looking and working just right.

Tonight I hope to finish up the nose gear parts and animation. Then I shall move on to the canopy. After that, and while I am adding all the exterior details, I'll make the model available to Fliger to start setting up the flight model.

Looks just like a real first flight... left the gear down! Really looking forward to working with this!

Cheers: T

OMG a FSX Native F7F!!!! Please say you going to do Big Bossman paint scheme! I love the F7F its sexy looking!!!!!

I don't think many people here will be able to 'contain' themselves, but we're just gonna have to! This is so excellent, I can't wait to fly her! :ernae:

Beta tester here, when needed. :ernae:

Thanks y'all :)

Tom, I will likely have you something by Sunday night. Just got all the gear construction and animations and control surface animations to my liking for now and took her out for a second flight. She seems to be be shaping up nicely.

I believe the BB is a model -3. Once this -1 model is done, a -3P will be in the works and likely the -3N.

Once mapping is done, I suspect a paint kit will be available for all who wish to contribute.

Meanwhile, I am 2-3 weeks away from completing the exterior model. Once done, another modeler will be doing the VC and the FSX native setups as it stands now. At least that is what I am hoping. ;)

Thanks y'all :)
