Installing, waiting, or sticking with 2020?

Late to 2020 last December after a 5 or 6 year Flight sim holiday, don't see me making the jump for about 6 months. Think I'll let others deal with the inevitable teething problems.
Haven't had time to fly more than 20 minutes total in the last 3 weeks anyway.

Working fine for me today, instant load every time.

Has some initial-release quirks but the VR and 2D performance is pretty awesome on my system.

I pre-ordered MSFS2024, but after seeing all the problems, I got a refund from Steam. I've got other uses for the money coming up to Christmas. I'll wait till it's matured a little and then read the reviews again.

I think the premise of the question is off. That you have to either install 2024 and delete 2020 or not install 2024 at all. I got 2020 right away but it took quite a while before I was using it most of the time. I now finally am used to 2020 and have it configured the way I like it or at least am used to it. I installed 2024 the day it was release but I have yet to successfully use it. Its going to take a lot of time before I get used to it and will probably be bouncing back and forth between the two.

there is nothing to say you have to choose one of the other right away, you can have both and slowly move from one to the other.
