Can you imaging having to navigate that procedure in a real emergency? Good Grief! Sounds more like something they came up with just prior to flight tests. . . . ."uh. . .by the way. . .if I have to bail out of this thing. . . .you know, with that rear prop and all. . . .anybody got any ideas"? lol. . . . . .One thing that's missing though is a steel bar that ran across the engine outlet just below the windscreen on the right side of the prototype. (Left side too maybe, but very photos survive of that side of the aircraft..). To prevent the pilot from getting chopped up by the rear prop he would have to climb out of the cockpit (In case of emergency) and use this bar to climb down so he could get out of reach of that prop!. . . . . .
Ah yea, forgot they do that when imported. I'll keep messin' with em'. . .thanks!the flaps are down in ModelConverterX, . . . . . .
ok thanks Ferry, will amend as necessary :salute:
A the start of the thread there is picture of a rudimentary VC... but the file for this aircraft I was
able to download from AVsim is just an iteration of the old Ito model...
Where can one download a file with the vc as shown??? Also, Matt, did you redid the whole aircraft as
it so appears on your WIP takes? Please advise...![]()
I just did. Niiice, very niiice. :ernae: The HUD in the gunsight is a very nice touch in light of his views....has anyone else taken him up on the offer further down in the readme file for the D.XXIII regarding his Bf-109G-6? He says he doesn't plan to release it to the public- just to those who e-mail him about it. Overall (model, FDE, VC) I think it's one of the best jobs he's ever done... Three models (clean, centerline tank, and tank plus gunpods), painted in Finnish colors...

Thanks Mike, on the prop problem in FSX. . . .I just ignore it, lol. Nothing can be done about it as it's in the model and Ito isn't inclined to change the way he does that so I just try not to let it bother me too much, lol. I don't spend a lot of time outside the VC so I rarely see the problem all that much anyway. That paint looks nice, Falcon... how do you deal with that prop in FSX???? I tried it once- when I saw all the autogen wiped out behind the prop disc I shelved the idea...
Also spruced up the VC a bit as well:
