Lockheed Jetstar II

This looks wonderful, Roland. :applause: Thank you so much. The overhead, wheel, and the cup holders in the cabin, all look great. Before this the wood below the cup holders was showing to be above the cup holders themselves.

Hopefully, there will be a separate on/off taxi light switch. As is, the taxi light is on and can't turn it off. Maybe in the overhead where other the light switches are

You can use the Shockwave lights gauge (if you purchased it) to turn off the landing light when the nose wheel retracts.

The Shockwave gauge works perfectly in P3D v4.5 but not in v5 as expected.

Nice to know however, I'd rather pass on that. From what I hear, there are ongoing attempts to modify the model so
as to facilitate retraction of the taxi light.

Okay. I've been getting the Jetstar to finally show up in the selection window. I went through the READ ME REALLY text document and sorted out my panel folder and put these file in...
Main_Panel.bmp
Throttle.bmp
LJS.CAB
Panel.cfg
Readme.txt
I also added the T.2 CAB from my copy of Tim Conrad's Mitsubishi as some of the gauges in the panel.cfg reference it. Now the plane shows up in the selection window as before but the tail and the fuselage skin are missing but at least I can get it into the sim and fly it from the VC. (Although I know for certain the artificial horizon was static there may have been other gauges that weren't working. I was only in the VC about 15 seconds before trying to sort things out.) I am going to try some more as there are a variety of external models and I'm sure I swapped out one that worked with the one that currently gives me a flying skeleton. Seems like other FSXers besides me are chomping at the bit for this one so I'll post again as I figure stuff out!
(I do have to say the exterior model looks fantastic! I especially like the paint scheme on N876BT!)

Thanks Brian, I was having so much fun I missed that. Easy fix. Now doing the U.S. Air Force Communications version.

Not showing Skin. is either a rename mistake in textures names, or your memory is not big enough. Its a memory heavy plane.
Do you use the FSX model or the earlier P3D model ?
Is it in all textures same problem ?

Nevermind. I saw your post on page 13 (somehow I missed a whole chunk of this thread) about deleting the Window05 and three entries from a virtual cockpit in the panel.cfg file and the new model.2 setup. I'm up and flying baby! Although I'm missing my engine gauges and a couple others. Altimeter, ASI and artificial horizon are there though. (I may re-gauge mine with Captain Sim's 707 gauges. They'd look right at home in here!)

I found the missing engine gauges and a couple others. I didn't move the JS folder into my panel folder.

JETSTAR II in P3D 4.4

All updates included, working fine for me as of 19 Nov 2021

Nice so far except frozen pilot AI/HSI, missing copilot AI, misc other no-working swicthes as noted before. \

All lights work great.

Using P3Dv4.5 I still get a CTD every time. I have made the same deletions from the panel.cfg using the 2048 version. Don't really see the point of going to 1024. So I will wait for the next PBR updated beta.
