The model looks stunning and I absolutely love the great sound set! However I do have one problem. I can't open the paintkit in PSP 7..... Is there somebody who could convert them for me? I would love to do a dark green MC202 or one in the final Breda scheme.......

Hurricane91, from which scenery is that hangar in your screenshot?

Thanks,
Huub

Awesome addition to the Italian fleet! This one really needs some nice exhaust bits. I used the set from the upgraded Reno racer that has been around for long time. I didn't mess with the original lights as they look fine. One question: Does this gal have landing lights? If so I'll toss in one. If not, then the ground crew boys better keep those barrel fires going.

Huub, I would like to see the dark green livery or the so-called "metropolitan" paint scheme. That shot in my prior post was taken at Aeritalia Torino (LIMA), available at Volo Virtuale Torino,

There is more than one version. I believe the one I have is named "Torino Aeritalia 2011".

RACARTRON, can you provide a link to the Reno effects? I've checked several "RENO RACERS" at avsim & flightsim and so far have not found the effects.

Hi Friends,
Thank You All for Your appreciation !!!!
For Huub & Hurricane91 :
The “Metropolitana” (“Continental”) camo in Dark Olive green (Verde Oliva Scuro 2) overall with Light Blue Gray (Grigio Azzurro Chiaro 1) lower surfaces was typically applied on early production machines (3rd series) since October 1941. The wing fasces were black with clear background on upper and lower surfaces, but some a/c had the old “negative” version on lower surfaces. The actual package doesn't comprehends this version (without sand filter, shorter aerial mast and different paneling). The final Breda “Continental” scheme, with very dense Dark Olive Green (Verde Oliva Scuro 2) mottles on Light Hazelnut Brown (Nocciola Chiaro 4) background and Light
Blue Gray (Grigio Azzurro Chiaro 1) lower surfaces, was applied on late production machines (since late spring of 1943). Wing fasces were black with clear background (upper and lower surfaces). These late machines were little different from mid production ones, they had different paneling, compensed elevator, different RG antenna, some different gauges and, in some cases, a different gunsight. As the early production a/c, the actual package doesn't comprehends this version.
I think I'll add soon these early and late production in an "Expansion Pack", after the C.205 (!!!) release.

Hi Racartron,
No, the C.202 hadn't landing lights.

I guess the pilot could always carry a lantern or something:engel016: Anyway I'm having a ball with this beauty. Great work -- as usual, Mate.

Just installed her this morning and went up for a quick spin around the dogpatch. VERY IMPRESSIVE!!! The engineering and accuracy that went into the construction of the model is superb. Manuele, you and your team did an excellent job on this one.

My knowledge of Italian aircraft during WWII is somewhat limited but from what I have read, later versions were precisely constructed with exceptional fit and tuck. Like an " Aircraft version of a Ferrari".

Thanks again for your generous gift, Manuele.

Thanks for all your answers.

Manuele I'm looking forward to the future project, but I'm more a Folgore person than a Veltro man ;) Nevertheless the Veltro is something to look forward to.

Hurricane91 thanks for the link. When the hangar in your screenshot is an example of the quality of these packages, I will fir sure install all available scenery.

Steve thanks for converting the file for me. It might take some time before I produce something, as I'm currently working on a few other projects at the same time.

Cheers,
Huub
