This aircraft was shot down on 1st November 1956 in aerial combat with Israel and fell into Lake Bardawil. Later it was lifted up by Israeli and exhibited at their air force flying school.

nice one, MajorMagee :)

ok, I am back from vacancy.

my plan is to make some Fagot skins yet, but they may come later, as standalone downloads.

so, the basic Fagot pack would content just one metalic and one cammo skin...

Could be tweaked a little on the nose and cannon sound. The air break is correct gun placement ,panel lines and many more details are wonderful . Thankful for all the work you and your team has done. Regards,Scott

yeah, the model isnt superaccurate :) it is veeeery old project, originally created with FS Design Studio and later ported into gMax. god thanks Ive found some of the sources after all the years and prepared it for CFS3 now, with help of MajorMagee.

anyway, it may serve as alternative Fagot to kick ass all the Sabre scum :D MiG Alley calls :)

ok, by reflecting the mentioned nose case Ive started to rework it.
its reshaped already and re-uwmapped, but needs to fix all the related parts aswell (gear bay and doors, air intake divider which covers the nose wheel...)

first blood:

ok, Ive finally remodeled all the re-nose case related parts, retextured and reanimated.
will check for some bugs yet, but basically, as MajorMagee announced already, its public releasable.

Glad to see attention to the Korea Conflict. Maybe some lo poly bombers to intercept would be nice in the future . A great addition to CFS3-Korea .

ummmm....pretty doable, you know :)

the MiG-15 was designed role against formations of B-29 heavy bombers as far as I know. I like the B-29. is that the low poly objectives you mean? I am not sure if they was acting at Korea conflict, means meeting MiGs.

EDIT, found this info:
Code:
[COLOR=#252525][FONT=sans-serif]When the Korean War ended on 27 July 1953,
the B-29s had flown over 21,000 sorties, nearly 167,000 tons of bombs had been dropped,
and 34 B-29s had been lost in combat (16 to fighters, four to flak, and fourteen to other causes).

B-29 gunners had accounted for 34 Communist fighters (16 of these being MiG-15s)
probably destroyed another 17 (all MiG-15s) and damaged 11 (all MiG-15s).
Losses were less than 1 per 1000 sorties.

The bombers were also used as reconnaissance (RB-29), weather (WB-29),
and rescue aircraft (SB-29)[/FONT][/COLOR]

also, I never tried any CFS3 expansion, means such bombers arent available or they are payware?

tried the mentioned B-29 quickly, but it crashed when loading, of course. hell, I really hate to install zillion another things to be able to test it!

so, this makes easy result, I will not bother with any such skin repaint.

btw, found some gmax model by C. Rosenmann aswell, which seems was the source. looks pretty nice shaped.

Good news you found the source files.Have seen others at some other 3D sites. Didn't know there was trouble with the B-29 here as i use the Fire Power one. Excited about the new Mig ! Thanks ,Scott

Installed the B-29 found here and works perfectly fine in the Korea expansion . Just have to make sure you have AVHistory weapons/guns is installed(easy) and that's it. A nice target !!
