• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

Queen of the skies

Since TOW is about to be released....(maybe soon?) thought I give the old girl a once over. Made a few mk1's and gave the pit (added a few parts and all 3d gauges), gunstations, flight model, and some other exterior pieces a bit of polish (John added a bump map and better skins).

As those who frequent our FB group will know, I'm finally bashing out a British Pacific Fleet skin pack for release, hopefully next month. The latest addition is a full repaint of our Firefly . . .

As I rule, I plan to leave what plane one wraps the BPF skins in up to the downloader, as there are definitely newer, better models of most of the planes in question. The Firefly is an exception. All we have is the original Mk I and the post-war Mk IV. But here's the thing: In the downloads I can only find the latter and it doesn't even include the shared Firefly files. Am I missing something? Where is the Mk I Firefly? I don't want to put out the skin pack and have folks be unable to find one of the planes they can use the skins on.

:biggrin-new: Thanks Mr Johnson, lol I've been finding skins from a secret third party for the last 15 years or whatever it's been!:biggrin-new::biggrin-new:

I bet you have John, lol Keep your brushes handy, been talking to Ted, and when he gets the 222 finished and mapped, he won't mind having you paint it for him!
