SECTIONF8 Sabre released !

Thanks, guys!

And because the long-awaited book about the Luftwaffe Sabres arrived today, I have no excuses to hesitate any longer to finish this package.
Sigh - more time in the paint hangar, less time in the air ...

btw: here comes the real target tug:

Cheers,
Markus.

"Silver paint"

As I understood Jan from the SECTIONF8-Team, a "non-photoreal" template set is in the pipeline - among a whole bunch of fixes & goodies... :jump:

Regards,
Markus.

JA-111 reworked

Dear fellows!

After considering more sources, I decided to rework my 'JA-111' textures.
In respect of the overwhelming realism of the aircraft rendition, my first attempt of depicting the "JA-111" did not appear adequate anymore to me.
Seems like that girl forces me to do my best...

What's changed?
- "Iron Cross" insignia are changed into the earlier, 'leaner' version,
- "Richthofen" squadron crest of JG 71 is now beared on both sides (thanks, Uwe!),
- "JA-111" marking without white fringe,
- corrected rescue and caution markings,
- added aircraft numbering on the tailfin (not readable, but believe me: it's there!).

Just uploaded at AVSIM.

Cheers,
Markus.

Well she's a brilliant plane alright. Just don't land to heavy on any TnG's or your gear wont retract. I know from experiance LOL

If Jan will give me permission.

JAN ?

Model and texture files will not be included of course (just copy over from your install and covert to DXT3 for better frame rates, not GREAT frame rates, just better) :)

I suppose it has a lot to do with what airport and scenery your using.
I was at the default Sion (Just reinstalled on a new Pc)and I was hittig 50+FPS and thats what I call a great frame rate. The Livery is Transloads Aerobatics Gold by Garry J Smith. Respect to Garry. But at Heathrow (an add on) I'm only hitting about 20FPS Big Thanks to the devolopers.

I've never quite understood the obsession with high FPS when 25-30 is more than adequate.

I agree, most cartoons are made at around 25fps. The higher the fps the more fluid everything becomes. I've noticed it myself but more so in VC view.

Don't worry Barry - this board does some strange things at times...:isadizzy:
How do Tom.
Yep it's a little different to Transloads forum but I think I've sussed it now.
Any chance you can add my Army signature to my posts for me PLEASE.
