There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.
If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.
Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

I have been working on some layered masters. still have a lot more too do, but thought I'd post an update on progress. I am currently playing with the engines.
That is looking much better SteveB.
I am regretting now that I did not map with a higher resolution than I did.
I can always start again if you want too![]()
My concern about remapping is that this WIP has had 176 downloads so there may be a lot of paint in progress.
Understood Milton. It would be nice to know who is painting or planning schemes for the Mallard, I will be making my layered masters available too all once I have completed them.
Thank you Steve; that is most kind of you.
I will likely create a new version for the hi-res mapping.
I will try to get that done this weekend.
The hi-res version templates will not be compatible with the current mapping by necessity.
I will denote it as a hi-resolution version so if others wish, they can continue with the current version.
I have been playing with the interior this evening. Decided on wood panelling and cream finish.
First time I have ever painted inside, sofa's just started, chairs next. Here's updated external and new internal texture: https://www.dropbox.com/s/g69vpv3r1frttxv/ms_ mallard_beta_02.zip?dl=0
Just wish I could figure out how to get into the back, so I can see what I'm doing lol.
option 1 please Milton.
Thanks
Steve
