Thank you Cees, I'm glad it is working out nicely for you, and I do have a lot of anticipation going into the next releases. Thank you too for the new screenshots guys, all of them are very well done - I will have to install some period sceneries again!

I accidentally posted that third shot on the above post - it only says two shots, features three... they were all named according to the same convention - and named uniquely - in my screenshot folder - so all got posted by mistake... but if you want a link, this is it... http://forums.simflight.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=73975

I've got to say that this P-51 is the best aircraft ever made for FS9; my opinion. I've flown just about every single engine fighter made for FS9, payware and freeware. Each time I fly the WBS P-51 the more it grows on me. It's gotten so bad/good that I can't fly anything else! The VC is beautiful. The FM is a masterpeice; you'll discover that very quickly as you accelerate down the flight line and she starts to lift off. The exterior of the plane, the skin panels, make me drool each time I look at them. I can imagine myself walking around her during my pre-flight check just stroking the skin as I walk by!:icon_lol: The exterior detail is second to none! The sounds are what really pull a plane together and make it feel real. The WBS P-51 sounds so real I can almost smell the engine exhaust as she turns over. I've just gone head over heels in love with this plane..........I can't help it! Don't laugh at me too hard!:costumes:

Thought I'd post some of my screenies. One small detail I'd like to point out. When you cross over 10,000 ft you'll see the pilot figure change and he'll have his O2 mask on. The O2 Blinker in the pit also starts to funtion. How can you not love this plane?! Just look at the sexy beast!!
 
Boy, I am lovin' this bird. It flies like a dream. I've got the take offs down pretty good now. No zig-zagging all over the runway while taxiing and no fishtailing on take offs. Landings great. Confidence high. :ernae: No :bs:

Couple of questions for WarBert.
Can you tell me what numbers in the config. file to change so that I have 180 degree free swivel on the tailwheel?
Lost my Cart ID, order number, can I somehow get that from you?

I think you've released the Best P-51 out there, WarbirdSim Team-- Everyone's just crazy over this plane. Job well done. :ernae: :friday:
