This archive contains files to create a model of the De Havilland D.H.83 Fox Moth for FS9. Details for installing in FSX are included.

De Havilland designed the DH.83 as a light transport biplane for up to three or four passengers with a range of 360 miles. The Fox Moth was launched in 1932 at a price of less than £1000. This was partly achieved by re-using elements of the Tiger Moth.

The British Air Ministry in the 1920's sponsored a competition for the development of a two-seat light aircraft. Several manufacturers including Westland designed aircraft for the competition.

The aircraft modelled here, the Westland Widgeon III, was first built in 1927. The Widgeon was unusual for a British design with its parasol wing layout unlike the majority with their biplane design.

This archive contains files to create a model of the Foster Wikner Wicko GM-1 for FS9.

The Wicko G.M.1 was the third design of Australian aircraft builder Geoffrey Wikner after he had set up a business in the U.K. in 1934.

His plan was to offer a no-frills aircraft which would undercut the opposition but still have a reasonable performance.

After poor performance with cheaper engines, production aircraft used D.H. Gipsy Major engines.

This archive contains files to create a model of the Chrislea Sky Jeep for FS9.

After the commercial failure of the Super Ace, Chrislea used the same basic fuselage and with conventional controls and a tailwheel undercarriage, introduced the CH Series 4 SkyJeep.

The Skyjeep modelled here - G-AKVR was the last of the three built and was completed on August 27 1951. Although it was registered, it never received a British C of A and after 90 minutes of test flying was shipped to Australia...

This archive contains files to create a model of the Miles M 17 Monarch for FS9.

The M 17 Monarch was a development of the Miles Whitney Straight. It had a modified fuselage, allowing provision of a third seat in part of what had been the luggage space and an extra window on the starboard side.

Eleven aircraft were built between 1938 and 1939. In the Fifties, one Monarch (G-AIDE) enjoyed some success as a racer.

This archive contains files to create a model of the Blackburn Roc for FS9/FSXpo.

The Blackburn Roc was a British - built Royal Navy dive bomber / fighter. It was built as a development of the Skua (also as a carrier based aircraft) and first flew in 1938.

Delivery to the Navy started in 1939 but squadrons disliked the Roc, claiming it was inferior to the Skua.

In 1940 Rocs were relegated to air-sea rescue and target towing duties before being withdrawn from service in 1943.
