SECTIONF8 Sabre released !

Love every part of it except something in the install conflicts with Active Camera. :banghead: I know it's been brought up in a post, but is there any fix to that?

I think I figured it out.

For whatever reason, the tanks don't show up in the preview screen. Not sure if they're supposed to or not, but I was assuming that since they didn't show in the preview screen that they wouldn't show up during flight.

In the fuel/payload section, the tanks indicated full.....but since I didn't see them visually in the preview, I went ahead and "emptied" them in the fuel/payload section.

This time I didn't empty them, and when the flight started, the tanks were there.

So are they suppose to show in the preview as well?

No they don't show up in the preview screen Gary. Also, if you already load up the aircraft, without fuel in the tanks, adding the fuel in will not make the tanks appear, you have to reload the aircraft.

The first repaint (Find on Avsim) :

I haven't found this paint yet , but I'm keen to get it.

Thanks,

Pete.

I'll add my thanks to the Section F8 team, what an incredible work of art! Well done to all involved and again Thankyou! :applause: :applause: :applause:

Well Folks, I just learned to disable the "zorder" entries of the panel.cfg by some slashes in order to make active camera work.

Has anyone an idea, what those entries are good for ? haven`t encountered any disadvantages so far ...

Where is the start cart?

Thanks for all the nice comments, gentlemen !:wiggle:

Sorry that the download is a bit troublesome at the moment. I'll give uploading here at SOH another try right NOW ! Fingers crossed !

JayKay might also come to the rescue ! :mixedsmi:

Cheers,
Jan

Thank you for such a beautiful bird. BTW, I don't see the start cart nor
the cannon fire. Otherwise it flys great. Any suggestions on the invisible
startcart? Thanks in advance.

Truly OUTSTANDING!:ernae:
A late afternoon approach to Chilliwack B.C.
After reading the manual and practicing a bit, I can now do complete circuits without damaging the gear and flaps:d

What a beautiful rendition of my favourite vintage military jet.

Thanks so much to the developers and SOH for making it available.
