The traditional post here if you are up and running P3

Aussie Pilot checking in.

Thanks guy's, my copy arrived yesterday and i loaded with no real hassels.
I haven't really had any time for a decent fly yet but I just want to say thanks to Winder,Pol and the crew for a top job you guys have done.

While i'm here i have 1 question.

I noticed in the manager you have the choice of going straight to the cockpit and then to leave straight back to the manager bypassing the cfs3 page, or to go and leave via the cfs3 page.

Well i thought for setup purposes i'd go via the cfs3 page each time but even when i have that option checked in the manager i always end up going straight to cockpit everytime. The only time i haven't is when i go to QC via the workshop. Then i end up with the cfs3 page, which is what i want, but I either get a flying plane or a plane that explodes in the picture.

Any idea's?

Up and running. AI is great. Alive for 8 flights and 1.82 hrs so far. Been captured and escaped!:woot:
Outstanding !!!

cheers GB

Great Aussie Pilot, to setup your config (cfs3config etc), sound blah, use workshops. For controls press esc when on the field then you can get to all those settings.

Put 1.1 patch on firstly anyway.

But best not to turn those off at the moment, V1.2 will fix exploding craft etc in old CFS3 QC.

Is there a ETA on the v1.2 patch?

Up n running from 28/1:applause: - no issues apart from my PC needing FPS tweaks ( succesful!). PS: does anyone else use a modified reticule gunsight in no-cockpit view? I use a little red dot ( a la RB3D ), when I'm closing on a damaged craft. I just like it better than the big circle blotting out the target ( I like to see the damage going in...). If anyone feels like it, GIMP 2.6 is a good freeware .dds editor, n easy to use ( had to be easy, or I'd really pooch it!)

Yes, but having some trouble with the video settings and getting it to run smoothly. Will play around with it and see what happens. (The BHH install apparently defaults to 16bit color and a low res.)

:frown:Now we're talking! Today I finally upgraded my system with a larger power supply and graphics card - what a big difference! From bad frame rates to very smooth now.

Now I can really how well done everything is - absolutely fantastic! Thanks OFF team!

Now, if I can only figure out why this TIR 4 isn't working right.....

No problem, just gettting reaquanted with the config system as I haven't had this up for several months. Got it working to day and it's quite impressive, though, on my system, I seem to have to keep terrain and scenery at 3 with effects and aircraft at 5 and clouds at 4.. still experimenting and will let you all know if any thing seems to help.

Whacko! Arrived Friday in Sydney. Australia.Installed like a dream and runs well in my rig,9600 gt, 2g ram, XP2 sp3.15 to20 low down,30 to 40 at altitude.Only snag I can't install the patch. It's still a great sim without it.Sorry, gotta gp fly
