SECTIONF8 Sabre released !

LDF, you continue to cause me to drool all over my keyboard. These two paints are outstanding. I was hoping that our paint gurus would paint a few of the fighter bomber guys mounts, as they seem to have gotten far less publicity than their interceptor brothers. I'll have a spot all cleaned out and waiting for these! Thanks again!:icon29::guinness::medals:

Great repaints.

I keep asking around for someone to have a go at some camo RAF CL-13 Mks2 and 4 but, so far, nobody has volunteered to have a go at them. A lot of squadrons flew the types.

Hi, Dave!

As far as I'm concerned, I've grounded further camo repaints until the 'non photoreal' base pack is released. Although in my humble opinion, those shiny photo bases do work well with the glossy canadian camo (and Luftwaffe of course), I'm looking foreward to a more appropriate base texture set. I think same goes for other 'RCAF specialists' having their specific project in the pipeline...

Cheers,
Markus.

Nice repaints LDF!!

Hey QS ~ :wavey:

I have page 56 in my library too (attached to the book it came in)! LOL!

Also found it in color -

That F-86 is a hard wing so I'll wait for SectionF8 to issue their hard wing version, by that time maybe I will have found a suitable font for "MISS TENA" !

Hey LDF! :wavey:Mine's still attached, too, but just barely.. I got the hardbound edition combined with "And Kill MiGs" from the Military Book Club years ago, and the bindings are somewhat fragile. I "re" discovered that this aircraft was a hard wing F after I had posted the photo. I agree that it should be painted on the proper model airframe. Besides, I'm flying the wings off of the ones that have already released now... I'll be looking forward to this one for sure. Thanks again to the Section F8 team for this woderful freeware aircraft, and to you and all the other painters in our community who have provided us with so many outstanding paints!:medals::guinness::icon29:
