Mustangs are go!

JKCook, the pitot heat should be working. I would like to hear what others report as well and I will note this. For one thing I know that it cannot be a model related issue. Does the mouse arrow change to a hand when you move the mouse arrow over the switch?

Bandit, I'm sorry, but it is one of the difficulities in being a new company starting out.

Thank you for the screenshots, Thunderbolt! Over the last few weeks of testing, these are some that I took just for kicks...

Just loaded the Flight Leader pack up....I've got Princess Elizabeth idling on the runway....dropdead pretty !

Congrats, Bomber....you done real good ! Really appreciate the inclusion of the Malcom Hood version...it was always one of my favorites. Two thumbs-up and worth a stay in the dog house to boot !:applause::applause:

...snip...Does the mouse arrow change to a hand when you move the mouse arrow over the switch?

Yes it does. Nothing happens when I click the switch and it's not a drag-type like the cooler doors. Not a big deal if gauges don't stop functioning in icing conditions!

OK, whats the scoop now? If you get the download version, does it have all the goods of Boxed sans box ???

JKCook, by that finding, I know that the reason lies in something other than the model. I will see what I can do to find the culprit. ;)

Bought the "B" package and I'm a happy camper. Thanks to John and the Warbirdsim crew, it's everything you promised.

Folks!

Our initial plans to release our own texture sets seems to have very much gone against the grain!
While this may well happen at some stage...

We will be releasing a Paint Kit!

What we would like to do is allow the paints to uploaded to this site, Flightsim.com, Warbirdsim and a few others.

For those who can use the factory example, then that is a great place to start.

We were worried about piracy, and the passing around of this product.
Please help us make sure this does not happen.

More details this week.

VERY sensible Albert! Looks like a great release and I'll be looking at getting the FXS version!
Congrats guys! :ernae:

Thunderbolt, what scenery package are you using for those shots? I'd be interested in checking it out.:wavey:

A portover to FSX finds everything working but the usual problems with the prop and glass alpha channels. Easy to correct with DXTbmp. FPS seem OK for .bmp textures. Will do for me until the FSX one gets released.

Comparisons with the A2A -D are very interesting in terms of flight dynamics. The -B/C seems less of a handful and less likely to depart in tight turns, especially with a full fuselage tank. Torque effects on take-off are also more easily managed and responses in all three axes are more positive - a bit like the difference between a sports car and a saloon. I get the impression that this is quite close to the truth; I've heard a lot of pilots were reluctant to relinquish their -B's for -D's especially the early ones without the fin fillet.

Just enjoying a beautiful Pony:applause:

This is a great looking plane and allowing repaints is a must, so thankyou for the change of policy. I will be waiting for the fsx version I'm afraid.

A2A have been fantastic in their support of developing the fighter pack from FS9 to FSX, its a shame a similar policy isn't being adopted here, or I would buy the set now and run as a port over as I do with the A2A Mustang until the new version is available.

Surely that would help cashflow and predicted sales if that policy was addressed ????

Just my thought

Just did my purchase a few minutes ago for the Flight Leader CD. Asked to have it sent by air. Very pricy, but it looks great. So no moaning from me. :ernae: Mustang Sally convinced me to buy it. It was the legs, the silky smooth skin, and that great big power house up front that really did it. :d
