Just had some fun and created my own, personel Sabre.
Purely fictional and in no case what so ever intended to be accurate. :icon_lol::icon_lol:

Great stuff Jan (as always), but to my eyes that RAF 'target':costumes: looks an 'A' type (from the 1920-30 era), not the later post war type, with equal amounts of red white and blue (unlike this one with more white).

Trev, Pete, thanks for your comments about the CA-27 draft. I thought the roundel looks funny too. It's from a CAC Sabre displayed at the Prague aviation museum.

Got a few good photos of it to maybe use for photoreal 'grey/silver' paint. Afaik all of the CAC Sabres were painted. Non bare-metal. Roundels and mig stars are already gone.

P.S Don't know if you've caught it already but there's a nice Phillipines Air Force 'Blue Diamonds' paint at Avsim, done by the same chap that covered the Turkish 'White Swans', here's a screenie ----->
